Originally from Yorkshire, Luke moved to London 10 years ago to pursue a career in the hair industry and trained alongside the team at Trevor Sorbie.
Currently part of Project Sassoon for 2023 and the British Hair Fellowship he enjoys being creative both in and out of the salon.
Luke loves creating beautifully ‘lived in colour’ for his gorgeous clients, and is the master of soft, sexy styling. He can’t wait to welcome guests old and new to the Arkive by Adam Reed salon, Covent Garden.

What excites you about hair?
Being able to bring out my guests personalities into their hair. One of my first questions during a consultation is! What do you for for fun?
What is your favourite hair moment?
My favourite hair moment was shooting with Chris Buleziuk as part of Project Sassoon and being told “that’s a proper image” I felt like at that moment all my hard work had been seen.
Who is your Hair Icon?
Our one and only John Spanton. John was one of my mentors during my training at Trevor Sorbie. I’ve always looked up to him for advice with hair and in life (plus he’s not bad at colouring too)
Tell us about your favourite hair?
Creatively I’m obsessed with smokey pastels and grungy colours, anything that causes a commotion! Commercially, I’m obsessed with lived in natural blondes and firey coppers
